our studio

Studio Masala is an all inclusive studio, with a commitment to remain grounded in rich traditional teachings as well as infused with modern modalities.

The combination of the two which is embodied deeply through the practice within the studio supports both the physical and mental well-being of all who walk through the doors.

Studio Masala’s intention is to create a safe space to practice with devotion, to soften the mind, reconnecting back in with the body and breath.

Studio Masala has been birthed for the community, a pocket of complete non-judgment and unconditional love in Lennox Head.

Sophia the founder and teacher believes it is her mission in this incarnation to help guide people home to themselves through the devotional practice of yoga.

Rising Flow

Rising Flow is an energising morning practice designed to open your body and mind to the day ahead. Yin and Yoga Nidra

Yin and Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative class that combines gentle Yin yoga with the meditative practice of Yoga Nidra. Starting with Yin, you'll hold floor-based poses for extended periods to release tension, increasing the flow of Chi within the body. This slow, grounding practice prepares your body for Yoga Nidra—a guided meditation that encourages deep relaxation and inner stillness.
